2024 Central Oregon Skilled Trades Career Fair Highlights!

The Kendall Central Oregon service team attended the 2024 Skilled Trades Career Fair to show students what a future career with Kendall could look like! Students from all over Central Oregon joined us at the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center and spent the morning participating in activities, winning swag, and talking with industry professionals. At the Kendall booth, students were tasked with a knowledge test, playing a game titled, “What’s Under the Hood?” Under the hood of a Rav4, Tundra, and Mustang, our service managers labeled 5 components they had to name correctly. From an ECU to a brake fluid reservoir, students learned all the parts technicians need to know to successfully fix vehicles. Thank you to our service managers, Andy, Austin, Chris, and Alan, for providing such an engaging experience for the students! If What’s Under the Hood didn’t go great, students had a second chance at winning some swag through game of skee-ball, powered by our Ford Lightning! Thank you to the Skilled Trades Career Fair team for inviting us, to our Kendall managers for creating such a wonderful experience, and our Central Oregon students for asking engaging questions. We also appreciate your willingness to learn something new and challenge yourself with an educational game!
