Kendall Central Oregon Celebrates Community and Care at the St. Charles Hospice Auction

The holiday season is about giving, gathering, and spreading joy and this December, Kendall Central Oregon was honored to once again support the St. Charles Hospice Auction. The Kendall elves worked hard to find the perfect western ornaments, tree topper, and power wheels, to be bid on live at the event! This cherished annual event helps raise vital funds for St. Charles Hospice, supporting compassionate end-of-life care for patients and their families right here in our Central Oregon community. It’s a night filled with holiday magic and stunning Christmas trees, donated and decorated by local businesses and organizations.

This year, our Kendall team donated a one-of-a-kind western-themed Christmas tree titled the “Wild West Winter Express.” We were extremely grateful for a Christmas tree donation from Lowes, so we could focus on all the goodies that bring it to life. The St. Charles Foundation Hospice Auction took place on Saturday, December 6th at the Crook County Fairgrounds, where guests participated in live and silent auctions while enjoying a traditional Christmas dinner, generously prepared by the St. Charles kitchen staff. Our Kendall team was amazed at the artistry and generosity of our community, with some of the most beautiful trees and quilts you have ever seen. We are extremely grateful to the family that purchased The Wild West Winter Express for just over $1500, providing essential resources to St. Charles while receiving gifts for their kids. Every dollar raised helps provide comfort, care, and dignity for patients and their loved ones during life’s most meaningful moments.
