Kendall Central Oregon Continues Partnership with Oregon Adaptive Sports

Oregon Adaptive Sports creates access to adaptive sports opportunities, from Skiing to Mountain Biking, through over 2000 high quality outdoor experiences every year. In 2022, Kendall supported OAS through the use of a Tundra to haul their equipment and funding their First Turns First Berms program, which allows new-to-OAS athletes to experience the power of the outdoors at no cost. This year, OAS winter programs grew by 28% (1300 experiences) and they were able to invest in $80,000 of new adaptive sports equipment, thanks to the support of their sponsors and donors. Kendall is excited announce that we will be extending this partnership to support the growth of OAS and the life-changing outdoor experiences they are providing to our community.

The Kendall Cares team joined OAS at their annual fundraiser, First Chair, where they highlighted the partnership and surpassed their fundraising goal of $225,000! We are overwhelmed with the amount of support displayed at the event to provide more experiences to our community. We cannot wait to see the growth of OAS in 2024, and are looking forward to being a small part of the life-changing experiences they provide.
