Kendall Central Oregon Hosts Cub Scouts District-Wide Pinewood Derby!
Kendall Toyota of Bend hosted the annual Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby for the district-wide event, organized by the Crater Lake Council! Between the Bears, Wolves, Webelos, and Tigers, over 25 kids put their engineering skills to the test on the racetrack. There were some incredible designs, but there is definitely something to be said about the weight, weight distribution, materials, wheel width, and beyond for the fastest cars. The Kendall team was so impressed by the speed of these cars, with the winning time being just over 3 seconds!
Thank you to the scouts & their families who joined us for a wonderful Saturday event, and for brining all the knowledge and excitement. We look forward to hosting this intelligent group of scouts next year for another memorable derby!
