Kendall Central Oregon set to Sponsor & Compete in the 50th Annual Pole Pedal Paddle – JOIN US!

March 30th, 2026 by
The 2026 Pole Pedal Paddle is set for May 16th, 2026, and Kendall Central Oregon is thrilled to sponsor & compete in this classic Central Oregon event. This year’s race marks the 50th Anniversary of the event, which is Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation largest annual fundraiser. As a Major Sponsor of the event, we are not only supporters, but competitors as well!
INTERESTED IN COMPETING WITH US? Kendall Central Oregon is entering FIVE teams this year in the Pole Pedal Paddle! We are in need of two Nordic Skiiers – if you are interested, we will cover your entry and look forward to having you on the team! Please email our Community Outreach Manager, Megan Cornett, at [email protected] to sign up with us.
There have been many questions about this warm winter we are having in Central Oregon, but despite the questions about low snowpack, the race is still on! In fact, this season’s snowpack is as low as it was the same year of the first official running of the Pole Pedal Paddle. What a commemorative way to celebrate the 50th annual event! The Pole Pedal Paddle team, as well as Mt. Bachelor, are exploring all options to include an on-snow leg should conditions allow. That being said, they encourage racers to start, or at least mentally preparing, for some running at elevation. The MBSEF Staff plans to announce an official course by mid-April.
