Kendall Central Oregon supports High School Athletics Through Kendall’s Halftime Hero Initiative!

Kendall Central Oregon took center field (at halftime) in support of Central Oregon youth high school sports through the Kendall Auto Halftime Hero initiative! This fall sports season, Kendall partnered with the Rotary of Bend and local high schools to support our youth athletes. On September 29^th, Kendall donated $50 per touch down scored at each opening IMC game of the season to Rotary of Bend in partnership with their Youth Sports Program. Every year, the Rotary team works with local businesses to develop these Youth Sports Programs, which they sell at each game. With the funds raised, they give back to our local high schools in of support all OSAA-sanctioned athletic programs in Central Oregon. Through this initiative, the club was able to donate over $48,000 to local high school sports programs in 2022 and has donated over $1m over its 45-year history!

Kendall’s Halftime Hero was not only designed to give back to youth sports but also to create memorable and impactful experiences for the students. On October 20^th, the Kendall Cares team hosted a halftime competition at the Summit vs Mountain View game. Sixteen students from the Summit student section joined us on the field, racing on hippity hoppers relay style and rockin’ their halftime hero t-shirts. The crowd went wild after the close race between the unicorn & dinosaur teams.
