Kendall Eugene Wraps Up 12 Days of Caring

December 31st, 2024 by

Kendall Eugene is excited to ring in the New Year after a fun and festive holiday season, as we wrap-up our Twelve Days of Caring! Each year Kendall hosts a series of activities, events and giveaways as a show of appreciation and thanks to our community, customers and our employees. This year was filled with happy memories and exciting moments, so what did Kendall do this holiday season?

Kendall helped to Support the Pearl Buck Center with it’s drive that included toys and household items for families served by the Pearl Buck Center and Preschool. All Kendall rooftops collected toys and items throughout November and December to help support these individuals, a big thank you to the Cascade Corvette Club for their contributions!

It pays to drive Kendall! Kendall Manager Fermin hit the pavement in search of Kendall customers at Oakway Center. He extended his thanks and gratitude to customers he spotted with Kendall plate frames, before surprising them with $50 holiday spending cash. We know our customers have options, and appreciate hearing the stories of those who chose to shop Kendall each and every time!

Kendall helped to Light Up The House at the Ronald McDonald Heartfelt House at Riverbend Hospital. The Ronald McDonald House provides a space for families to receive quiet, respite and care while they navigate care and support for their loved ones at Riverbend Hospital, at no-cost to the families. This fun filled evening included visits from Santa, dessert bars, face painting, balloon animals, carols and performances before the house was lit up with a beautiful Christmas display. This event was done with support from Kendall Lexus Eugene, which is thankful for all that the Ronald McDonald House does for our community.

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there. Kendall Eugene assembled it’s finest elves for this job, Kerri, Tami and Gary! 24 stockings were assembled, filled and dropped off to our friends at Ronald McDonald House and at Pediatrics in Riverbend, to help spread some Christmas cheer this holiday season.

Ho-ho-ho! Santa and his reindeer came to town and made sure to stop at Kendall Bronco of Eugene to see all of the good boys and girls. Families from across the community stopped in to get no-cost photos with the man in red himself and share their Christmas wishes. Two of Santa’s reindeer friends were there to help greet families!

Kendall Eugene elves Kerri and Tami struck again at Grocery Outlet for our Grocery Giveaway! As a show of thanks for letting us be a part of this incredible community, Kendall team members bagged groceries at Grocery Outlet before surprising customers by purchasing their orders! Thank you to our friends at Grocery Outlet for allowing us to come in and help support those in our community who have supported us for over the past 70+ years!

A cup of cheer was on Kendall, with the help from our friends at Human Bean! Kendall managers Pat and Tyler were up at dawn in their Christmas finest greeting customers at the Human Bean on Chad Drive. Kendall Eugene had the opportunity to thank Kendall Customers and let them know that their coffee (and cocoas and treats) were on us that morning as part of our Coffee Giveaway! Cheers!

Our Kendall Eugene team joined in on the fun! Employees had an ugly sweater contest with prizes at every Kendall Eugene location, as well as a Christmas tree raffle. Ten Christmas trees were raffled off ahead of the holiday season for Kendall Eugene Families. Our Kendall team also headed to the movies renting out the Eugene Art House, employees were able to chose a holiday-favorite film, with all the popcorn and treats they could eat (and giveaways for movie trivia!). Last, the Kendall Eugene team all gathered for an employee appreciation brunch, this fun and festive morning was an incredible opportunity for us to say thank you to all the individuals who make Kendall Eugene what it is today. General managers dawned their finest aprons to cook and serve their teams, with prizes given out every 20 minutes!

Thank you to everyone who helped support our 12 Days of Caring and thank you to our community, for letting us continue to serve and work with you here in the Eugene area!
