Kendall the Dog Kicks off Reading Program with Crooked River Elementary
Kendall (the pup) is excited to announce she will be piloting a reading program at Crooked River Elementary! This amazing first grade class will get to spend every Friday afternoon reading to Kendall starting mid-April. Kendall and our Community Outreach Representative, Megan Cornett, got to meet the class before Spring Break so they could task the students with a reading challenge. If the students meet their reading goals, they will start winning prizes to build their very own Kendall reading buddy. Kendall is excited to spend time with the students and support them while they improve their reading skills; she may even learn a few things herself! Stay tuned on our social media pages to see how our amazing kids, and Kendall, are doing as they read their way through the end of the school year!
