Save The Date for the 2025 KENDALL AUTO SOAPBOX DERBY!
Save the date for the 4th Annual Kendall Auto Soapbox Derby at Rivers Edge Golf Course on September 6th, 2025! The Kendall Auto Team is thrilled to partner with River’s Edge Golf Course for another year of unforgettable Soapbox Races. The Kendall Soapbox Derby was designed to create memorable and impactful experiences for our community while giving back to the nonprofit organizations that make Central Oregon, Central Oregon. We invite all local businesses, local nonprofits, student groups, and beyond to grab a team, choose a theme, and start building their Soapbox Car!
A Soapbox car is a gravity-powered vehicle with brakes and steering capabilities. At the Kendall Soapbox Derby, participants are judged on the design and creativity of their car by our spectators, and how well they do in the races! Kendall Cares will be donating up to $10,000 in prize money, split between the top three teams and their chosen beneficiaries. Thanks to our partners such as Kirby Nagelhout Construction, we are able to take our Soapbox Derby to the next level with jumps, turns, and new surprises on the course every year.
We are so proud of all our participants but would like to give a special shoutout to our 2024 winners: Summit High School Robotics, The Lure Legends with SunWest Builders and Street Dog Hero, and our very own Mercedes-Benz of Bend team with Bend LaPine Education Foundation. We encourage our community to start building their teams and Soapbox Cars and cannot wait for the highly anticipated 4th Annual Kendall Auto Soapbox Derby!
