Kendall’s 2026 Catwalk for a Cause returns October 24th, bringing 300 members of our community together to celebrate what hope looks and feels like in everyday people. Community leaders, called Hope Ambassadors, have pledged to raise $2500 leading up to the event, where their efforts will be celebrated with dinner, drinks, a runway that shares the mission, real stories of Furnish Hope recipients, and additional fundraising opportunities. This beloved annual fundraiser combines style, community, and generosity. All to support Furnish Hope’s mission to help local families create safe, comfortable homes.
Hope Ambassadors are the heart of this mission, and we invite our community to be a part of it by joining us at the event. This year’s group of 20 Hope Ambassadors are more than models; they are champions for spreading Furnish Hope’s mission in our community. Through personal fundraising efforts, ticket sales, sponsorship connections, or simply sharing their link with friends and family, these ambassadors are making a direct impact for local families. About Furnish Hope & The Future: Furnish Hope transforms empty houses into welcoming, furnished homes for individuals and families in need. Through referrals from local agencies, Furnish Hope supports people navigating significant life changes or challenges, including veterans, recovery graduates, individuals transitioning out of homelessness, foster youth, refugees, those impacted by natural disasters, and people facing disabilities or medical challenges. By providing the essentials that make a house feel like home, Furnish Hope helps create comfort, stability, and a fresh start.
In 2026, Furnish Hope purchased a permanent facility that will become a welcoming, sustainable space where they will steward donations more efficiently, serve more people with dignity, and offer a safe, inspiring environment for volunteers and guests. Recipient families will have the opportunity to choose furniture that will meet their current needs and dignity, agency, and care will be a part of every interaction. Funds raised from the 2026 Kendall Catwalk for a Cause will help put this vision in place with Furnish Hope’s goal of officially opening its doors in 2027.
