Bike in Movie with Central Oregon Trail Alliance!

Kendall Cares and Central Oregon Trail Alliance hosted the first ever bike in movie event! Attendees met at Phil’s Trailhead to take off on a group bike ride led by COTA, whose mission is to build and maintain our beautiful trails around Central Oregon. The event was held at the entrance of Phil’s Skills, which is a Bike Park for all ages to test all your technical biking skills. Central Oregon Trail Alliance is currently rebuilding the entire area, from the parking lot to the jumps, and beyond! In the words of COTA, “this professional build will meet the evolving needs of the community and will be built in an enduring fashion.”

To celebrate the progress and future of Phil’s Skills, Kendall hosted a BBQ and movie right at the entrance of the build. After the group returned from their mountain bike ride around Phil’s Trail, they had the opportunity to grab a burger, camping chair, and set-up for a movie under the stars! Thank you to everyone who attended and endured the August rain with us; it was perfect for the bike ride and memorable for the movie-watching, to say the least.
