Close The Divide
For thousands of students in our community ‘Back to school’ means gathering in a parking lot and a hunt for a WiFi signal.
Without real access to high speed internet, kids across Lane County are essentially “logged out of school”.
Here’s 3 Ways You Can Help!
- SUPPORT CLOSE THE DIVIDE LANE COUNTY
- You can help close the digital divide by making a donation to the Close the Divide Lane County Fund. We are working with internet providers to offer inexpensive Wi-Fi rates for students. Any amount you can contribute will make a big difference.
- Don’t Forget, Every $1 You Donate Today, Kendall Cares Of Eugene Will Match Up To $15,000!

- PURCHASE HEADPHONES
- There is nothing quite as necessary to remote learning as some peace and quiet, and that comes with a good pair of headphones. Headphones will give students a barrier between their head and the rest of the world. When the headphones are on, they can focus on what they’re doing and not the noise and chaos around them.
CLICK HERE to find our Amazon Wish List which shows the type of headphones that will work best for the students. You can also purchase similar headphones locally, and drop them by any of the Kendall Eugene Dealerships between now and October 9th.
