Kendall Auto Bend Wraps up Hunger Awareness Month at The Giving Plate

For the entire month of September, Kendall Auto Bend hosted a food drive in each dealership in honor of Hunger Awareness Month. Food donations were collected and donated to The Giving Plate, which is the largest local food pantry in Bend. The Giving Plate’s mission is to feed the hungry with compassion and hospitality; they serve over 3500 individuals every month. In Central Oregon, the need for food is 40% higher than it was at this time just last year, which is why we partnered with Newport Market to feed more families. With the help of our community, Kendall Bend employees, and a can match donation from Newport Market, we were able to donate 412 pounds of food!
