Kendall Bend Sponsors Friends of the Children Largest Annual Fundraiser, Color Me Hopeful

Kendall Auto Bend is a Gold Sponsor at our new partner’s largest fundraiser, Color Me Hopeful! Friends of the Children Central Oregon is a nonprofit whose mission is to break the cycle of generational poverty by selecting children that face multiple systemic obstacles and pairing them with a paid mentor, called a friend. Friends spend time with their paired individual in and outside of school for 12+ years, and the impact says it all. For these children, the outcomes result in a higher chance of graduating with a high school diploma, earning a GED, or enrolling in post-secondary education.

There are a lot of exciting changes happening for FOTCCO, such as opening a ranch where the kids can spend time after school and learn important life lessons, all the way to purchasing a vehicle from Kendall that will support in transportation to and from school, the ranch, and beyond. Kendall Bend is a proud sponsor of their upcoming event, where Kendall Bend’s own videographer developed a highlight reel to show all of the awesome things they are doing in our community.
