Kendall Eugene Meets 1K+ Students at Connected Lane County Career Fair
Kendall Eugene was excited to participate in Connected Lane County’s career fair, where we had the opportunity to interact with over 1,000 students throughout the County, as part of the Elevate program. Kendall employees including Gustavo from Kendall Ford, Robin from Kendall Toyota, Frank & Frank from the reconditioning center all spoke with students about different career opportunities in auto, their paths they took to get there and did hands-on activities with students. The Elevate program focuses on career technical education opportunities and alternative pathways for students to enter the job force outside of the traditional four-year college structure. “Elevate empowers youth and educators by creating meaningful connections with industry partners. As our longest-standing program, Elevate has a proven track record of providing opportunities that lead to post-secondary success and high-wage, high-demand jobs in our community and beyond. We believe in creating a brighter future for our youth by fostering partnerships that will drive economic growth in our region.” We are excited to work more with the Elevate program in the future, including their Spring hiring fair with HS Seniors across the region.
