Kendall the Golden Retriever Wraps up Reading Program with Crooked River Elementary School
Kendall the golden retriever wrapped up her very first reading program with a first-grade class at Crooked River Elementary! Although we will miss them this summer, we are so proud of the growth they experienced in their learning, reading, and writing during the program. Every single student completed each reading benchmark, earning different prizes and moving up a reading level with each challenge. The class of 21 students finished the school year with their Kendall reading buddies dressed in all the awards, and earned a Kendall t-shirt as well!
At the last celebration, Kendall received a book from her students with different stories about her. Not only did the students improve their reading, but their writing and storytelling skills as well. We hope you enjoy some of these stories as much as our team did! Thank you again to Crooked River Elementary, and first grade teacher Ms. Robirts, for partnering with us and letting our team spend time with your incredible class.
