Oregon Reads Aloud: A Virtual Celebration & Fundraiser

Across Oregon, children are facing unprecedented hardships that will have negative and lasting impacts as they try to build the literacy skills they need for future learning and success. They need SMART Reading now more than ever, and we need you more than ever.
Join us to make a difference on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, for Oregon Reads Aloud, a fundraiser supporting our work throughout Oregon.

We’ll travel the state – virtually, of course – for a day-long event, visiting the homes of our closest friends as they share fun and inspiring readings of children’s books. (Be on the lookout for everyone’s favorite Oregon quarterback, and one of our community’s biggest champion, Allan Benavides.) Then, we’ll end the day by raising our glasses (and paddles!) at a live virtual program celebrating SMART Reading’s work to spark joy and opportunity through the magic of a shared book.
